Urth Skin Solutions for Men Face Balm SPF 15 is a face balm designed for daily use. I was very excited when the owner of Urth told me he was going to send me travel size bottles of the entire Urth men’s skin care line to try for myself. Urth Skin Solutions for Men is an extremely popular product line that men all around the globe have been raving about since the line was introduced. So needless to say I checked my mailbox everyday hoping to see a package from Urth with my travel size bottles. A few days later I received my package from Urth, opened it up and grabbed by 2 ounce samples. I decided to try the face balm first, as you can tell a lot about a product line by their facial moisturizer.
So I woke up the next morning and performed my normal morning grooming ritual and excitedly hopped out of the shower and dried off. After shaving I rinsed off my face, dried it and reached for the Urth Face Balm SPF 15. I clicked open the top and squeezed about a dime sized amount into the palm of my hand. I rubbed the moisturizer and between my hands and held it up to my nose for the all important sniff test. To my delight Urth’s face balm has an extremely pleasant, clean and natural scent to it. You can really tell just by the scent that this face balm is loaded with natural ingredients.
The next step was to apply it to my face to see how well it spread on my face. As I expected Urth’s face balm spread easily and evenly onto my face. A lot of other face moisturizers that I have used that contain UVA & UVB protecting ingredients can sometimes dry too quickly on the face and are hard to apply evenly. But this face balm did not dry out and was extremely easy to apply an even coat to my face.
The next and possibly the most important test for a face moisturizer is how well it moisturizes your face. As I stated in many of my previous product reviews, I unfortunately have extremely dry skin. So a good face moisturizer is an essential part of my day. Without a high quality face balm my skin feels tight and dry all day. So after applying Urth’s face balm, I gave it a minute or two to sink in and then evaluated how well it had moisturized my skin. After letting it sink in, my skin felt extremely soft and silky without feeling greasy at all. I was really surprised at how soft my skin felt after applying it and letting it soak in. I have tried many high quality face moisturizers with great results, but this face balm left my skin feeling the softest of any that I have tried.
The fourth and final test came the following morning when I was invited to a golf tournament. Being the summer in the state of Florida it is extremely hot, and this day was no exception. The temperature was 95° with a heat index of 104. So needless to say being outside with this amount of sun for six hours would be a strenuous test for any sunscreen, let alone a daily moisturizer with SPF 15 added to it. So I woke up and applied some Urth face balm and drove to the golf course. As expected it was extremely hot and the sun was unrelenting. After 18 holes in the brutal heat I drove home and took a look in the mirror to see how my skin had faired. I’m happy to report that my face did not burn at all. I did get a small amount of color on my face, but considering I was in direct sun with 95 degree heat for over six hours Urth Face Balm did an extraordinary job of protecting my face from the Sun.
In conclusion I am extremely impressed with Urth Skin Solutions for Men Face Balm SPF 15. It smells great, applies easily and evenly, leaves your skin feeling silky soft, fully moisturized and most important of all protects your face from both UVA and UVB rays. I wholeheartedly recommend this face moisturizer to any man that is looking to moisturize and protect his face everyday.
