Dental Marketing: Strategies for Success Essential Dental Equipment and Tools for Your Practice

One common skin care practice that many people tend to undertake is the face skin care. However, without knowing, not many people conduct it in the right way. Just like any type of care given, face skin care should be done while following a series of steps which in the end should be able to give someone his or her desired results.

The first step when conducting a face skin care is to cleanse your face with a cleanser that allows your skin to respond well to. Cleansing should be done after removing any make up that you may have applied on the skin. Face cleansers are readily available in the market and should not be hard to find. While cleansing the face, avoid using bar soaps since they have been proven to dry out the skin. However, cleansing should not be done all the time as the action may increase the level of dryness on the skin as well. Therefore, washing your face at night with

an appropriate cleanser and then splashing it with lukewarm water in the morning should be enough for you. The lukewarm water is used so as to loosen any dirt content that may have stuck on the face and open up the clogged pores on the skin.

The second step to undertake when performing a face skin care is to exfoliate. Exfoliation is one important step that most people tend to often skip in their skin care routine. This step involves the process of removing the top skin layer which comprises of dead cells. For men, this is easily achieved when shaving their beard but where women are involved, other measures have to be considered. Microdermabrasion, retinoids and chemical peels are some of the options that can be used to enhance exfoliation. However, just like cleansing, exfoliation should not be done so often since this may lead to the reduction of skin complexion and in the process make your face to appear dull.

Therefore, exfoliating your face once a week especially with microdermabrasion should be enough to keep your facial skin glowing. When scrubbing your face with microdermabrasion, try to ensure that you use gentle scrubs that have tiny grains to avoid tearing your skin and ultimately cause more harm to yourself. After gently scrubbing the face, leave the microdermabrasion to stay on the face for some time depending on the specified instructions that are usually put on the kit. After the specified time elapses, you may remove microdermabrasion off your face.

The third step is usually optional to people since it may or may not determine the final outcome of the face skin care. This step involves the application of an acid-containing solution on the face so as to restore the pH balance and its protective shield. In addition, toners are also meant to remove all remaining traces of oil, dirt and makeup. In cases where oily skin is involved, astringent preparation should be used and in cases where dry skin is involved, a mild freshener-toner should be put in use.

The fourth step that should be undertaken when performing a face skin care is to moisturize the face. You should start by splashing the face with cool water or moisturizing it with a spray bottle and then blotting it but not to complete dryness. After doing all this, you should then cover it lightly with a moisturizer. This should be enough to moisturize your face since it is meant to help the face retain moisture rather than providing it with moisture.
